Summer Camp Information

Summer Camp 2019*

*Please note that you can still send in your packets after March 31st. Registration packets postmarked by March 31st will be submitted into our first round lottery and those received April 1st or later will be submitted into our second round lottery.

Summer Camp is from July 1, 2019 - August 9, 2019 for 5 - 15 year olds (age 5 only if Kindergarten has been completed). Please note that both our summer day camp and our RLT program is for Manchester residents only. Registration is done by lottery and registration packets will be accepted by mail only from March 1 - March 31. Registration packets will be available on March 1, 2019 at the following locations:

Summer Camps (ages 5-15)
Camp Registration Packet

The Summer Day Camp program includes structured activities such as sports and games, arts and crafts, swimming, field trips and special events. Youth Sites for ages 5 - 11 will be: Bowers, Mahoney, Martin and Robertson. Teen Site for ages 11 - 13 will be at Illing Middle School. Recreation Leader in Training (RLT, age 15)
RLT Registration Packet

The Recreation Leader in Training program is a six week leadership training program (July 1 - August 9, 2019) for youth age 15. The RLT program is designed for training youth to be future leaders and to provide them the opportunity for possible future employment with the Manchester Recreation Division in our Summer Aquatics or Summer Camp program. Please note that participants must attend the first three weeks of RLT and at least two additional weeks. RLT costs $65.00/week and is held from 9:00am - 3:00pm (extended care is NOT offered for the RLT camp). No transportation is provided. Each participant is responsible for providing transportation to and from any of the RLT sites.The main site for RLT this year will be Washington Elementary School. Payment*
Camp Payment is due in full with your completed registration form. A three payment plan is only available for those registering for ALL WEEKS. If registering for all six weeks of camp and making three payments, please note that 1/3 of the total camp bill should be mailed with your completed registration form. Regular Camp Day (9:00am - 3:00pm) costs $65.00/week per child with each additional child being $55.00/week. Partial Extended Camp Day (7:30am - 3:00pm OR 9:00am - 5:30pm) costs $95.00/week total per child with each additional child being $85.00/week total. Full Extended Camp Day (7:30am - 5:30pm) costs $125/week per child total with each additional child being $115.00/week total.

*Financial Assistance: If financial assistance is required you will first contact Katie Clark at Manchester Senior, Adult and Family Services by calling 860-647-3065 for consultation. We will require a written Financial Assistance Approval Form to be submitted with your registration packet. We will not process any applications that require financial assistance without this form. All of this new information is also included and explained in our new registration packets. Please note that there IS a cap on available financial assistance.**
